Posted - 09 February 2006 : 09:42:46 I don't own a Diamond yet. It is a dream. I do feel it is one of the best designs out there. I don't get envious of many people but Diamonds are a scrolelrs best friend.
I have had several discussions on other forums about the Diamond. Those that have them seem to agrre about the quality, those that have never heard of them are intrigued.
As the Canadian Dollar seems to climb the saw gets closer to my reach. Retirement is only 7 years away, I really do need to get one before then.
I hope to learn form other members of the forum and hope others will find some of what I have to say useful.

Thanks, it is really great to be here......did that sound like ELvis?
I haven't been back in 40 years, not that I haven't wanted to. I have many relatives I could visit, and a few new friends too. I am afraid, you are preaching to the believers here. I really want a Diamond, and I am sure someday I will get one.

IIRC Doug was telling me a story last year about someone from Hong Kong who did just that and managed to slip the dismantled saw through as hand baggage!
