Hi Trausti

It's nice to have you with us . It looks as if you live in a beautiful part of the world, but I bet it can get very chilly at times.

Do you use your fretsaw as part of your carpentry work or simply for your handicrafts?

Gill

Hi Gill and The Woodman. It is not so cold here in Iceland.
I use my fretsaw for my personal handcrafts.

Trausti is my first name. Kveðja = best wishes. It is not difficult to buy scroll saw´s here in Iceland.
If I buy it from USA I hafe to make a special order be cause of the diffirents in eletric voltage.
Some saw´s are not avable like Excalibur and DeWalt.
Other saw´s (from Europa and Asia) are avable here in spesial shop www.gylfi.com

Kveðja,
Trausti

Kveðja Trausti,
nice to hear from you over there is woodworking a big hobby in Iceland? I know Doug has sent quite a few saws over to Scandinavia and around that area.

Hi Peter good to have you with us.
Do you work with you saw? If you have any pictures for the gallery please send them to me by e-mail.
It is nice to have new people on the forum. I am not much of a woodworker myself, but I am sure there are many who will join in and say hi. Please enjoy the forum and web site and let us know what you are uo to.
Paul
