Hi Tony

It looks just as good this time round !

Replacement question from last time (number 2 ):

What scrollsaw/bandsaw blades do you use for your boxes? I'm particularly keen to know how wide the BS blade should be and how many teeth per inch.

I've just noticed the title of this thread, "Rising From The Ashes". I'm surprised an Aussie would risk using the word "Ashes" on an English forum in the current climate !

Hi

Sculpted from one block of Australian Red Cedar, using a bandsaw and the Diamond fretsaw, 3/8" 12 TPI blade for both machines. Then handcarved.

Length: 16cm. Depth : 10cm. Height: 19cm.

Handsanded using various grades of paper and finished in a blend of natural wood oils only.

Hope this helps?
