I know the Diamond saw has a circle cutting jig, and is one of the few Fretsaws that can use a fence. DO any of you have other jigs jou use or are interested in.

Anything remotely related to scrolling, like compound cutting jigs, clamps, dowel cutting jigs, sanders, magnifiers, layout tools etc.

If you do have them or plans for them would you like to share. I have a few simple sketches drawn up for several jigs, I would be willing to share.

Hi CS, Only thing i've done is bluetack some 6mm mdf to the table to increase blade life. Just me, pretty new to scrolling and as much as I look at different ways to adapt my saw I can only see them getting in the way ( monkey see, monkey do ) is me, not much on the clever side i'm afraid. Wish you well, Happy scrolling.

The only jigs I can think of are little pads that I use to hold small segmented pieces that I'm rounding over on my Dremel router table. But they're hardly scroll saw jigs. I've got a Diamond fence, but I haven't used it yet.

Cabby - I'd suggest you be careful using blutack to hold a false table in place. It will knock the piece you're cutting out of square with the blade. That probably won't matter too much for projects using thin wood and which don't abut onto other cut pieces, but it would cause major problems for projects such as intarsia.

Thanks Gill, not tried intarsia yet! but I intend to, never gave a thought to the false table being out of square as I clamped it tight to the table, then removed clamps.
Thanks again, Still got a lot to learn ( but that's part of the fun )

Sorry I haven't been back for a bit. I was busy at work doing a safety presentation. Now that it is complete I will get to work on some jig sketches and email them.

I've been absent too, largely due to technical problems at my end. I'm looking forward to seeing your jigs, Carl.
