Second hand off of ebay. Picking it up in a week. Woodman keep looking in, I'll be back for advice i'm sure. It's not got the original table, 3/4" mdf now, so will probably need to contact diamond for a replacement. . P.S Woodman, how is your business going, I sell a bit of my work on e bay, no way I could make a full time living though Wish I could, I would be happy as larry to sit at my scroll saw all day.

| Well I picked her up today. Pretty noisy machine compared to my hegner. Vibration is not to good ( what can I check for ). No manuals to check so will rely on your advice. Thanks |

Cabby, I have an elderly Diamond which is currently residing in Doug's workshop, waiting for my friend to pick it up. It sounds like you have the same problems I had (it tried taking the bolted down bench out of my shed for a walk round the garden!) I sent it back to Doug after him telling me it should be able to be used with a £1 coin balancing on its edge. He tells me that now this is possible! Can't wait to get it back, and try it out. Can recommend that you ring Doug and discuss it with him.

Cabby., I have my saw back now, put it this way - it's brill. Just used it for the first time since it was "serviced" and I'm very happy. Get in touch with Doug - he will do the right thing with your machine. They're all his babies!
